Have Questions?

Frequently Asked
Questions

Can more than one person be included?

Yes. However, we typically recommend no more than a foursome in the portrait. This often results in requesting additional portraits as each member may want their own.

When is the best time to schedule the photo shoot?

Most courses look their best in early spring or late fall when the foliage or flowers are in full bloom. Early morning or late evenings are the best time of day when colors are not washed out by the bright sun.

How long does it take to complete the painting?

After you approve the photograph, it typically runs 1-3 months to complete the painting depending on the size and complexity of the painting. We strictly limit the number of portraits we accept each year.

How much does a commission portrait cost?

A commissioned golf portrait painting of 1-4 golfers, on canvas up to 6 feet by 4 feet, with photo shoot session is $20,000. Portraits up to 8 feet by 6 feet are $40,000. Remote locations and large portraits available on request.

How does payment work?

We require a 25% down payment at time of booking the photo shoot; 25% to be paid once photograph is approved. The balance of 50% is due upon completion of the commission.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes. We accept cancellations up to the time we begin painting the portrait in the studio, however you forfeit your down payment.

Ready to book?

The number of portraits is strictly limited each year, so book early.
